Context¶
D-LAUNCH-20 introduced Apothem as a narrow-scope WinGet variant. D-LAUNCH-23 promotes Apothem to the universal display form, replacing the prior three-form complexity (apothem / Apothem / Apothem). D-LAUNCH-20 is SUPERSEDED-BY-PROMOTION.
Decision¶
Two-form discipline: Apothem (display form, used in all prose, headings, UI, documentation) and apothem (identifier form, used in CLI commands, package names, file paths). Never use: Apothem (single-cap), apothem (hyphenated), or APOTHEM (all caps).
Consequences¶
This decision is captured as D-LAUNCH-23 in the launch suite spec.
